What to take home
Fir honey comes from the same forest that covers the slope above the villages: darker, more resinous and less sweet than blossom honey. Beside it, tsipouro and Corinthian raisins. From the neighbouring villages come walnuts from Karya and apples from Manna — and both have their own festival during the summer. You will find them at the two groceries, but also at quite a few places to stay and tavernas that sell their own or their neighbours’ produce — ask on the spot.
